French GourMay

French GourMay is the one and only major festival in Hong Kong and Macau dedicated to gastronomy à la française, organised under the umbrella of French May Arts Festival.

French cuisine is one of the few UNESCO-listed culinary cultures. Each year, we celebrate the unique culinary treasure in collaboration with one French region. 

The 16th edition of French GourMay Food & Wine Festival unveils the soul of French culinary culture and art-de-vivre – French spirits, a testament to the perfect union of terroir mastery and human ingenuity. From the amber glow of Cognac to the delicate whispers of Calvados, each sip is a journey through time and tradition.

This May, we invite all gourmets in Hong Kong and Macau to embark on a triple exploration of French spirits and liquors through our extensive network of partners. Chefs from gastronomic, fine dining and casual dining restaurants have designed special menus to dazzle your palates. Bars take centre stage with innovative cocktails, blending French spirits with a symphony of flavours for a truly unique experience. You may also enjoy French GourMay promotions offered by retailers and join thematic workshops at learning centres to experience spirits, be it as an ingredient in cooking, as a component in cocktails or as a digestive served after a meal.
